Campaign Profile: MoveUP

180923-JetPull336-120x120.jpgMoveUP has long been a partner of United Ways across British Columbia, leading the charge with their office staff and members to help fund programs that support vulnerable kids and isolated seniors in our communities.

Earlier this year Lori Mayhew accepted the United Way Thanks a Million Recognition Award on behalf of MoveUp and its members, but this year they’ve taken their campaign to a whole new level, becoming the first union to ever put forward a team for the UPS Plane Pull. Kim Chartier, Employee Campaign Chair for the MoveUP Office, jumped at the opportunity to raise money for the United Way in a fun, team-focused way. Together they pulled a Boeing 757 across the tarmac in only 54.72 seconds.

Well done, MoveUP! And thank you for championing our work to your members.
